The workshop will focus on useful career advice for early career researchers in the mathematical sciences. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about your career pathways, discuss issues facing early career researchers, and meet lots of amazing people!
Start at 2:00pm on Saturday 6 December 2014
Finish at 2:00pm on Sunday 7 December 2014
Afterwards, participants will have time to make their way to the opening reception of the ANZMC.

Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge, thanks to the support of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI), the Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS), and the New Zealand Mathematical Society (NZMS). Research students should speak to their supervisors about the possibility of obtaining grants to support their travel.
Any Early Career Researcher (ECR) who is a member of the AustMS or the NZMS and is registered for the ANZMC is eligible. An ECR is a graduate student or someone within five years equivalent of the award of their last degree.
To apply, simply click on the box that says “I would like to apply for the ECR workshop” when you register for the ANZMC here.
There will be presentations from early career researchers and career advice speakers, as well as plenty of time for discussion. The theme of the workshop is The first five years post-PhD.
